Privacy Policy

Converge (“Converge”, “we”, “us”) helps people find a time to meet. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website and app. We don’t sell your personal information.

• Account information — your name, email, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), and profile photo if you add one.
• Meeting data — meetings you create or join, availability you enter, participants, messages and shared notes, tags, and any location you set.
• Guest data — if you join as a guest, the name and optional email you provide (and only after you confirm the email do we use it to send reminders).
• Billing information — if you subscribe, our payment processor handles your card details; we receive only your plan status and non-sensitive billing metadata.
• Calendar data — if you connect Google Calendar, we access it read-only to see when you’re busy. We never write to or modify your calendar.
• Usage & device data — with your consent (see Cookies & analytics), we collect app interactions, pages viewed, and basic device/browser info to improve the product.

• To provide the service — create and coordinate meetings, compute the best times, and send you relevant notifications and reminders.
• To power optional AI features (e.g. drafting a meeting or suggesting tags) when you use them.
• To operate billing and subscriptions.
• To improve and secure the product, prevent abuse, and provide support.

We use essential local storage that’s required for the app to work — your login session, your saved preferences (theme, layout), and a local cache so the app is fast. These don’t require consent.

We also use privacy-friendly product analytics (Amplitude) to understand how the app is used. This is non-essential. In the EEA and the UK we ask for your consent before it runs, and it stays off unless you accept. Elsewhere it’s on by default and you can opt out at any time from the cookie banner. Your choice is remembered on your device; clear your site data to be asked again.

We share data only with service providers that help us run Converge (“processors”), each under contract and only as needed:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — subscription payments.
• Anthropic — the AI that powers optional Compose/tag features (only the text you submit to those features).
• Amplitude — product analytics (only with consent, as above).
• Resend — sending transactional email (invites, reminders, confirmations).
• Google — read-only calendar access, if you connect it.
• Mapbox — maps for in-person meetings.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We keep your data while your account is active. Deleted meetings sit in a trash for 7 days, then are permanently removed. Guest accounts that never join anything are cleaned up after inactivity. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and remove you from other people’s contact groups and shared data (some records may persist briefly in backups before rotating out).

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Export your data (portability).
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent (e.g. analytics) at any time.
• Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — we don’t do either, but you can still opt out of analytics.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

You can delete your account and data yourself from your profile, or contact us and we’ll help.

We operate online and may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers out of the EEA/UK.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any issue.

Converge isn’t directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
